Adopt a Cat
All cats available for adoption through Tsumeb SPCA are sterilised, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for parasites unless they are too young to undergo sterilisation. In these cases, the new owner will be required to honour a sterilisation appointment once the kitten is old enough, in line with our adoption policy.
We encourage potential adopters to contact us if they would like more information about a specific cat, including additional photos or videos. While this can be helpful, the best way to truly get to know a cat is to visit our premises and spend some time with them in person.
Kittens Available for Adoption
Kittens are recommended to be adopted in pairs where possible. We often have a 2 for 1 special on the adoption fee for kittens to encourage this. Please contact us to find out more.

Special Home Needed
Some of our cats need a home that looks a little different to the typical family environment. This may include semi-feral or very independent cats who would be well suited for our Working Cat Programme. They would prefer to live outdoors with their basic needs met while providing natural pest control.
This section may also include cats with underlying health considerations or specific personality needs. With the right placement, these cats can live fulfilling lives and make incredibly rewarding companions in environments suited to their needs.
